No other places in the world can get me excited as much as this city does. Hong Kong is a place everybody needs to visit at least ones in their lifetime. The city’s landscape, the culture, the food, the shopping, sightseeing and my favorite place in Hong Kong – The Disney Land makes it worth a stop. As much fun as it is during the day, it doubles up or should I say triples up in the night making the nightlife exorbitant. My first trip to the city was when I was 13 and I immediately fell in love with the city. As a result, I ended up going there more.
The places that I definitely recommend to go are of course Hong Kong Disney land where you can experience the magic of fairy tales, meet the princes and princesses (cue in- snow white gave me a kiss and I thought I was in heaven *insert hearts) visit Tarzan in his jungle home, watch the musical Lion King, experience the underground ride of Toy Story, take a train ride with Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald & Daisy Duck, Winnie the Pooh and many more and eat delicious food all around the park( the chocolate croissants at the one of the Bakerys’ were simply mouth-watering) and so much more.
Also the Ocean Park Hong Kong if you’re into fun, as well as dangerous rides you will have the time of your life *no kidding. From watching shows to thrill and wet rides to animal adventures which can be both educational and fun. Other stuff like Tian Tan Buddha which is just beautiful, the journey through the cable car is just mesmerizing, Madame Tussauds, Victoria Park and much more.
The food culture in Hong Kong is no joke either, its tantalizing and makes you crave more and more of those amazing delicacies plus it’s a perfect place to try out new foods and if your one of those people who like to challenge yourself on trying new stuff, than I would definitely recommend trying out ‘’Stinking Tofu’’, well the dish is not for the faint heart.
There is so much to the city that visiting ones is not enough to experience the beauty of the city that makes you want more. It bewitches you and it’s not the bad type of bewitching it’s the good type. So get ready to drown in the magic of Hong Kong.
